Pre-Physical Therapy Students

Interested in a career in physical therapy?  Moscow Mountain Sport & Physical Therapy offers students the opportunity to come in and gain experience and exposure to the profession of physical therapy.  We are happy to have students volunteer/observe either on their own or as part of a class curriculum.  However due to the high demand, we typically limit students to around 6 hours per week.

For university students, we are happy to discuss the physical therapy educational process. Three of our physical therapists obtained their undergraduate degrees from the University of Idaho and are able to offer a unique perspective regarding the transition from UI to graduate PT programs.  We are also happy to come talk for pre-PT clubs or classes.

If you are interested in volunteering with us, please contact us and be sure to have your class schedule / availability ready.  Pre-physical therapy students are given preference, however it is also a first come, first serve process.  Students are highly encouraged to contact us at least one month prior to the start of the semester.

Additional information on the profession of physical therapy as well the educational process can be obtained at the American Physical Therapy Assocation.  www.apta.org
